Are we supposed to pull our legs or feet backwards even before it strikes the ground while the leg is still in the air in order to minimize the ground time making it faster and have less breaking effect?
In these clips I see that all the sprinters seem to do it. It looks as though they make the same motion like when we use our feet while on a scooter scratching the ground back.
