The bearded wonder is not that big and certainly has limited muscle definition and not that fast but very quick. His passes are that of a magician's. He has very quick hands and feet yet he overall looks slow till he makes a move.

Yeah, he's pretty impressive and fun to watch for the most part. But sick of the non basketball flopping he does to get fouls called on the other teams.

The knock on harden has been his defense but he got 4 steals last night. Quick hands but doesn't use body on defense .

People used to knock Lebron for quitting against the Celtics before he took his talents to South Beach. Then for quitting in the 4th quarter against the Mavs. James Harden quit so bad in the playoffs last year, and no one even talks about it.
Imagine if Harden and Durant stayed with Westbrook with the Thunder.

Steals are one of the most meaningless statistics in basketball. Harden has always gotten a good number of steals. And he has always been a HORRIBLE defender.

Actually Harden does it all for that team. By playoff time he is just physically running on E. This has happened to other stars who have to carry the team all year, then they get criticized for folding in playoff time. Its cumulative wear and tear.

Not meaningless but certainly defense is much more than the number of steals.
Harden is not a great defender but I don't know if the team wants him to carry a big load on defense when he has to do everything on offense. Offense is his focus. Sometimes that common for a basketball player not to focus on both.
He gets lots of easy open looks at the basket during the regular season because NBA players are generally lazy and do not want to run hard for 48 minutes. During the playoffs, he gets guarded hard as everyone steps up to try to get the title. He is not a big powerful guy and gets banged up and drained too easily during the playoffs. And it was especially bad for the Rockets last year as injuries mounted and Harden was trying to do everything. That is why the team got Chris Paul. If Paul is healthy during the playoffs, he will help take the heat of Harden and give the Rockets a good chance at a title.

But they aren't as lazy as the average world class distance runner who wouldn't dare run 82 races a year plus championship rounds.
It would be like running a 48 minute 10 mile race 3 times a week for half the year.
Plays NO defense, quit in the playoffs last year, and flops all the time to get fouled. Slow the game down and he is not the same player in a half court game.
Would you take any guard over harden? He is the best guard.

I don't think he's the best player to watch at all, but he is a great player. The top 5 most entertaining are:

2. Joel Embiid

If I was Lebron when Harden kicked him in the nuts, I would have punched his beard down his throat.
Players like Harden, Bryant, and now Irving are everything WRONG with the game of basketball. All about being the big star with little regard for winning.
Harden will never win anything. When close games come down to the end, they would rather throw up low percentage shots to try and be the star than make the play that would win the game.
The only way Kobe Klanker could make a game winning shot was to shoot 1-9 in the 4th quarter letting the other team get the lead before sometimes making a lucky shot. That is why his teams were so poor the last few years. (besides the fact that no good player wanted to be on his team)

This is my list for most fun to watch, too. Watching Harden is not fun because he gets fouled so often that it really drags the game down watching him shoot so many free throws. Plus the nature of so many of the fouls he draws just seems bogus.

What's wrong with Irving? His assists and defense have improved this season. The Celtics have the best record in the NBA. They have the best defense and that has largely to do with Irving. They rely on his defense more than offense now. Do you even watch basketball?
