Besides coffee, what are some tips to help get as much poop-weight out as possible before a race?
poop after you jog your warmup. A mile or 2 always gets the bowels loosened up.
Poop is a palindrome. Never thought of that before, TBH.
Plant based diet. It's never a problem.
Coffee is the gold standard. I find that getting loaded on beer the night before makes me very loose the next day. Might work to your advantage, might have you rushing for a bush midrace.
I always try to bring some knowledge/culture to the discussion ;)
Hydrate well for 3 days before

This. Plus drinking a lot of water in general. I also drink a glass warm lemon water in the morning. Never an issue for me either.
Drink a lot of water. My coach said the main reason for a warm up was to help you go.

Whip up a green smoothie with chia seeds, spinach, kale, Apple cider vinegar, banana, berries of your choice, and some nonfat Greek yogurt. Toss in a tablespoon of cayenne pepper to help clear the pipes. Works like a charm.

All human diets are plant based.
If it's a very important race, you might want to consider giving yourself an enema an hour or so before if you want to "get as much poop-weight out as possible" as you stated. Not very pleasant (unless you are weird), but it would clearly get what you are asking for done. Suppositories that are designed to do the job within 10-15 minutes are an option as well if you are squeamish about an enema, but the enema would do a more complete job.
