I picked up the Aellos at a Puma outlet a few months ago for 30 bucks. I didn't even know that they're considered a racing flat. I thought that it was more of a lightweight trainer. Then again, my only prior experience with road flats is the H street and an old pair of Asics (don't ask me for the model name) that I can pretty much ball up in my fist. Compared to both of my other flats, the heel feels a little high. Other than that, I really like them. The forefoot is nice and flexible. The upper is seemless and comfortable. They look durable although I can't tell yet. The Goodyear rubber outsole is a hell of a lot more substantial than the outsoles on my other shoes. Also, the honeycomb style air in the heel tends to last a very long time. To top it off, they look absolutely fantastic.
