I have a drinking problem and I am trying to quit so drinking 100 beers in 100 hours sounds great but I don't think I should do it.
What could a good alternative be?

That is tough, because drinking that much of really anything can't be that good. I'd say seltzer, but that is also a ton of selter.
Have you ever ran 100 miles in 100 hours? Why not just start there. Make it a somewhat healthy challenge rather than just trying to harm yourself.
Well, part of the challenge is how dehydrated and poisoned you end up from all the beer on top of the mileage. So, you need to find something that you can ingest that will dehydrate and poison you.

I often run "ultras" in the summer as a way to work on my aerobic base and stay motivated so i have done 100 miles in 100 hours (sometimes more) a few times already.
While we're at it, does anyone have any running-free suggestions for the 100/100/100? I am too lazy to run but I just want to drink beer.

Possibly. It would be done over 100 hours and since the halflife of caffeine is about 6 hours, you'd be riding a good high for a while.
