My family always does a X-mas grab bag. I slipt a fake winner in once. My sister got it. After jumping up and down and screaming in excitement that she won $10,000 she read the back. "Collect at Jo Mammas" She was a good sport about it. Every X-mas since we all laugh about it.

We did a fake Publisher's Clearinghouse winner thing once, years ago. We took my mom's minivan and put a big sticker on it that said Publisher's Clearinghouse. My girlfriend dressed up in a tight dress and had a dozen roses. I put on a suit and brought a microphone. My buddy had an old VHS camcorder and he was the cameraman. We had a fake giant check made at a local printing place.

We picked a sh!t house on a sh!t street and rolled up on it. I rang the bell, my girl next to me, van in the driveway and camera "filming it". I presented the fake check, my girl handed the lady a dozen roses, we posed for pictures. We gave her a fake contract that said she won either $5,000,000 outright or $5,000 per month for life. We had her sign a copy, she kept a copy, and we put the 1-800 number for Publisher's Clearinghouse on it. Told her details would follow shortly, or to call the number for status on payment. Then we got the hell out of there. Never heard anything more about it.

You sound like fun. Not a complete piece of sh!it all all.

I did something awful like this once. We had a coworker who would go around eating food that was left out on tables. So we stuffed an empty box of cookies with office supplies and left them out for him in a public place. Needless to say, he went straight for it. There was no indication that it belonged to anyone he knew or anything. I guess it's not as bad as yours but people can be cruel.

I totally agree with you it's cruel and not funny at all I'd say it's really the most black humour which could be. Especially when it is done by your friends or work colleagues whom you know well. I remember I was lucky and won a car on the back of a beer lid and I had to go to the office of a beer company in another city. I threw a party to celebrate this. But the next day in the office they told me that this beer lid is forged and they can not hand me the car. It just crushed me I was depressed for a few weeks and such cases are not uncommon. Such cases occur and with lotteries. that's why I started using the service http://infoline.club and you know there's at least no cheating because I no longer trust others.

If you really must prank your friends/co-workers/random strangers at least make it a happy ending.
