Do you have childhood seizures? Because that is the only ailment approved for use by the fda. Otherwise, have fun being a guinea pig. Most of the other research has been inconclusive and hasn't had double blind tested against a control by a legitimate agency.

A lot of cbd products have residual alcohol and other vocs in them from the extraction process, so you will be vaping those as well. They are not regulated that closely (other than the few anti-seizure medications approved and regulated by the fda). About 70% of cbd products on the market either contain too little or too much cbd oil, so trying to get a consistent dose is next to impossible without doing your own testing. Additionally, 20% actually contain THC as well. Too much cbd will make you nervous / jittery, similar to if someone were to smoke too much weed. If you take cbd oil orally, you only absorb about 20% of the dose as the other 80% is neutralized by digestive enzymes. Additionally, 10% of patients using cbd oil show elevated liver enzyme levels, indicating liver damage.
One of the real risks with cbd oil is it also interacts with other medications you may be taking (it will deactivate cytochrome P450 enzymes, similar to grapefruit juice, so if you are taking heart medication or sedatives, you will get a much higher dose of those drugs inadvertently). Taking anything without doing research on it first is a bad idea. I have a friend who takes cbd oil regularly, and the other day he blacked out on a treadmill, and nailed his head and his face on the way down. His echo came back normal, and his mri and blood work did not show any indication of cancer or anything else (other than a pretty decent concussion where he nailed his head and a couple of broken teeth that my wife had to repair). In summary, don't take drugs (including cbd) without talking to your doctor first.
