What training tips would you recommend for a high school runner that is way better than everyone else on the team and in the league?
Talking about a high school girl here so one option for training is to have her train with the boys so she's not running by herself in training all the time.
Even in big multi-team meets she beats everyone by a big margin. Should I have her try to run even splits or do a tempo run of sorts, have her train through meets and have her run 3-4 miles easy before a meet. Just looking for different ideas on what to do with this kids that is head and shoulders above everyone else and will be the state qualifier before she runs against anybody faster or as fast as her. She is young so I still have a few more years of training her
