What's the deal with Running Warehouse saying that the Vaporfly 4% is going to be available, then disappearing completely off the site?

Probably sold out. They were on the site a few weeks ago
Original poster is right, it was after they sold out. It said available to order September 24th. It disappeared completely from the site. It was a different color too, darker blue.
They're too hard to get. Eastbay recently had them but had no good sizes (size 8.5-10) and sold out within an hour.
Go to eBay and pay $320 and you can get them now instead of in 6 months. They're the best shoes I've ever worn.

I've got a pair, but want another. I'm scared to use them now because who knows when they'll be back. I'm no Swoosh fan, but I love these shoes.

Production problems most likely. My pair was filled with defects. Unwearable.

4% chance you get a pair and then it sounds like a 4% chance they don't cheese grate your feet up.

3 pairs for me. Best shoes I've ever raced in.
The shoes disappeared off the site several days before they went back on sale
I'm selling a few pairs (size 9,9.5,10). Respond if interested.
Just get a few pairs of Nike Zoom Fly for all of your training and save the Vaporfly 4% for only races. I have 2 pairs of Vaporfly 4% but they will only be used for races as they are only durable for 100 miles or so.. I tried them for a 21 mile long run and they are fast! Can't wait to run Chicago in them.
Word on the street is to hold out for the 5% model. It will be much faster, like 1%.

The lateral heel wear on the Vaporfly's should be disregarded. The rubber is just fine, and the midsole feels fine after 100 miles. Let your legs tell you when they are done, not just shoe wear.
