I don't know about their financials, but they recently got denied big time by sport climbing (big debut in Tokyo) because of the uproar by athletes and fans of having previous free coverage go behind a paywall. Their reputation is mud among the sports they cover.
I turn the volume off on all of their broadcasts. Their race calls make my ears bleed. The blond chick that does post race interviews is super attractive, but NOT good at her job- seems really nervous and unprepared with her questions or something.
Listen to this cringeworthy broadcast, but be warned of the deleterious effects on your brain/ears:

The above is not "an Olympic throwback." It was not the Olympics.

As the fiscal year nears its end (03/31) I thought it would be a good idea to touch base with the VC dumpster fire known as Flosports, Inc. through glassdoor. On cue the stragglers are jumping ship on their own or being let go and not admitting it. Flocasts, Inc., according to comments from recent exits, is "an extremely millennial company" where one must "go scream at someone to prove your point or to prove that you are a woman worthy of working in a sports environment " and "be careful or you will end up working way too much." I found the one review calling out HR for their cover up reviews to be comforting as I thought similar while reading then.
I find it compelling/suspicious that there was an influx of positive reviews to come in here right after mass layoffs and the dismissal of the former CEO.
I might add that recent exits cite disapproval of the new CEO, the "fast-talking, ultra-confident University of Texas graduate" Mark Floreani who by coincidence is the ultra annoying younger brother of the previous dismissed CEO Martin Floreani.
Here is a recent article aimed at boosting morale for the company under the new leadership.
http://www.sportspromedia.com/interviews/there-needed-to-be-a-better-way-how-flosports-found-its-ott-nicheI haven't crunched the numbers in a long time but I suspect more drastic changes will take place in the near future if not already as the Fiscal Year comes to an end.
I will close out this post with bigger picture questions:
What happens to Flocasts next year when the Big Broadcasting Media idles their ability to cover the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games and the many events that lead up to it?
To a serious Wall Street-like investor, having a prospective company's bread and butter products aimed at Olympic sports makes no sense if the company is essentially barred (or shunned) from covering the Olympic Games adequately.
Could it be possible that a company which started off with a large percentage of its viewership based on track & field and cross country eventually drop that coverage in order to concentrate on more profitable sports video ventures?

How are they doing now?
I was thinking they must finally be nearing the end and bankruptcy as their website doesn't do any coverage of any elite events anymore. They didn't even go to NCAA xc for example.
So I put their name into google. I was stunned by the result.
They apparently aren't going bankrupt as they signed a deal with USA Gymnastics earlier this year, but the article on that was crazy. Someone at flocasts thought it was a good idea to link to nude photos of a US gymnast who was a minor.

Lots of layoffs. Kevin Sully and Gordon Mack are now gone.
In 2023, FloSports underwent significant layoffs, conducted in smaller increments, potentially to avoid scrutiny. The quality of engineering has noticeably .
