How long are old spike shoes still good for use?

If you are worried about injuries, don't jump into track workouts in spikes after 16 years off from running.

You held onto a pair of shoes for 16 years without using them? And now you want to use them instead of spending a small amount of money for new ones?

You should run in bare feet, you wouldn't want to wear out those shoes. If you're careful with them you can keep them forever.

They're fine. Unless, of course, they happen to be the yellow Ventulus Plus in a size 11, in which case you should send them to me for proper disposal.
