I would have loved to see Laura Muir in this race. I honestly think she could have taken Simpson. She would've at least taken the lead from Judd at around 1200m and made it a grind for home.
Man, McGoglan looked like she was about to fall every stride. Her corm is crazy, how'd she ever finish a track race?
I think it's just because she's tall and has unnaturally long legs compared to the rest of her body.
Other than Jenny , all the rest of the US runners , male or female must have gone home devastated too then ! Idiot !
Muir would not have beaten Simpson
I'm not sure devastated is the correct term.
As they all got PB's apart from Laura Weightman, who did better with a National Record they can probably cope with the devastation. They even got a nice weekend away in NY !
Can someone please tell me what the word 'DEVASTATED' I see on here so often is too lazy to describe?
I'm assuming it means 'didn't win' (no caps necessary), which is in no way synonymous with being 'devastated' (just fine without caps).
I also think the phrase 'the Great Brit[ish] runners go home...' is what is being searched for. And, go on, we'll have a semi-colon where the comma is, while we're in the ballpark.
Great Britain won the men's race

I think someone left the apparatus way up your butt after you got pegged yesterday
Muir gave it a good shot in 2016. I didn't think Jenny would win this again, but she ran a PB, probably her best race of the year. In 2017, Muir would have had her hands full trying to beat Simpson.
Thanks... I think...
No, sorry, I have absolutely no idea what that means.
I finally found a copy of the womens race on the NBCSports site.

Not so sure about this statement.

That is probably why Muir was not invited. Jenny might not have won the meet.
