The correct answer is: Suck it up and pick a point to point 5k so you can set a massive PRs by running with the wind.
Oh, and rub baby oil all over your skin. It'll help with the rain since everyone knows oil and water don't mix. I read about that on a good coaching advice thread.
Why workout at all? I promise you that a few days of no workout out of the thousands of days you have on this earth won't be THAT bad...jeez...
