How can a school district let this happen? Disturbing video.

WTF
Guess you've never pushed yourself to a point where you hurt while running?
Every coach pushes athletes. I took gymnastics as a kid, and one of the first drills were these indian splits where people would help you stretch farther.
Right or wrong, someone is getting fired over this.
Am I the only one who thought this was kind of humorous? Not the girl doing the splits itself, that looked painful and borderline child abuse.
But the fact that this is/was big news? WTF? I think there are other more pressing matters going on.
We'll I'll be chicken noodled

When I read it before I thought the video was going to be waaaaaaayyy worse. Doesn't appear the coach thought he was doing much wrong as he cleary knew he was being recorded.
So did she make it on the cheerleader team? Coachs watch out
If you make students lift heavy weights
You're out of the job
Too ugly to be a cheerleader at my school.
Pics?

Yes, I pushed myself. I didn't get dragged behind a truck at 40 mph.
???
The coach is a lair. He said he was an Olympian on his bio. A reporter called the gymnastics oly committee and they said they do not have his name on the list as ever being an Olympian.
Doing the splits in cheerleading is akin to being able run 2 miles as a cross country runner.
F this my football coach said I have to tackle people.
What a drama queen! Nothing to see here.

Seriously I hear all these people talk about running hurting and don't understand it. It can be exhausting and leave you quite sore yes, but painful, really?

Yes, Painful. When I was well trained, the last lap of every race should hurt. My legs would burn like crazy and feel like they would fall off.
That's how John Parker described it in Once a Runner, so I don't think I'm special.
