I suspect that Nike made this shoe to be shaped like a foot in order to maximize performance, by enhancing comfort, balance, and push-off. Does anyone else see how the shape is wider than most Nikes?

They´re not. I recently purchased a pair. It only looks like that because of the extremely curved last.

When and where did you buy it? Has the second batch been released? Every time I see it available, it's only for one size. Probably from someone who bought, never wore them, and returned them.
I heard from the Niketalk board that Eastbay will be getting another shipment on August 28. I bought a pair from Jackrabbit (after having orders placed and then cancelled by Fleet Feet and Nike.com). Good luck getting a pair. I am thinking about getting a 2nd pair in a different color way.

Maybe with placebo effect? ðŸ‘I just want a dark Blue Fox one to match my Zoom Fly.
