As we watch Farah transition away from the track after a Dominating 12 medal streak (10 Gold) over the last 6 years lets remember 1 important thing.
What ever happens to Salazar (Bad or Good) should be how Mo is remembered. They are not Separate. Salazar created the Mo we have seen.
Just Remember for years before the original BBC NOP Documentary came out Rupp, Salazar and Mo were all the rage in the running world. Just google it there pages of pictures, articles and videos of the three of them.
Galen and Mo were basically best friends. (Well as close of track friend as we have seen Galen have)
Now there has been some good social media, marketing, and press especially from the British that would have you believe that over the last 3 years Farah has been separate from the group. That Farah was "urged" to be cautious around Salazar. Even that he was keeping an eye on Salazar and would leave if he felt things we wrong.
The thing is this has largely worked. If you look at Mo's social media (Instagram, snapchat, twitter) You get the impression that he is primarily alone and that the British Athletics crew are his main set of coaches.
However as good as Mo is at creating this image if you follow the other (NOP) crew on social media you can get a better picture. Last fall Mo, galen and centro basically trained together September-January.
When it came time to do Base training in Early spring mo went to Ethiopia with his British crew. And not that he doesn't enjoy that crew. The thing is that it is during this period that you will see him do most of social media post. To further instill the idea that he is working mostly with the British crew.
Come April however even Mo Posted a picture with him back with the NOP group.
This is a pretty long post. But my main point is that whatever happens Salazar should directly effect what we think of Farah.
Salazar created Farah, and no matter what is shown, said or written. Salazar is most definitely still calling the shots and running the Mo Show.
