So I was recently told to do cross country by my coach where he said it would not be like 50mpw xc but like 25-30mpw with some other track workouts mixed in in there. I would not like to kill my speed which is why I go to the gym 3x a week (I do squatting and leg stuff on Monday/Friday). Anyways, I was wondering if it is a good idea, surely I want to break 50 in the open 400 and 55 in the 400 hurdles and be around my time for the 200. If it helps, my PRs are 23.21 in the 200, 52.94 in the 400 and 58.10 in the 400 hurdles
