Most of us couldn't see the additional comments, just the original one accompanying the post. So we see the pleasant sentiment, not the sour grapes that you apparently saw.

I don't see any way to do that so I probably am not reading what you are.

Not during the 2012 10k though.

Dude, take the chip off your shoulder.
Kenya has a drug problem. So do some other countries. It is not equally bad in every country.

The Kenya-hate on this site (from alleged modern, big, bad superpower America) used to bother me some, but is now a source of great pride and joy. Thinking that this "backward and underdeveloped" country is utterly dominating you at a sport you'd claimed for yourselves and for all your money and science, just can't figure how to beat them, gives me such a rush sometimes.
.
You mentioned a good point though. Superpower. Besides financial strength, military strength is one of the greatest sources of pride for a nation. Kenya is so weak that Ethiopia would likely be able to overrun it in a couple of weeks. How's that make you feel?

Exactly. Keniano is known for seeing insults where none exists, and uses it to justify calling people like the Robertson brothers scum, which oddly enough is way more rude than these comments.

None of the 7 comments I see are insulting. Please post here what you think is so vile instead of tiptoeing around it. If you can figure out how to copy and paste, that is.
Not finding it.
You have to scroll to find the comments by "runninelvis" (Zane)
There's nothing to scroll to.
The section that scrolls is tiny. Instagram isn't really made for the web. Here is a screen clipping:

It really is a storm in a tea cup. Zane is being overly defensive while the inference that 13 year old Kenyans are better than 17 year westerners is a bit of an exaggeration. As of yet I'd still waiting parts of Anthony Scaramucci's vocabulary to arrive and spice things up.

Thank you, Hardloper. Finally someone that gets it. This guy is so angry, filled with hate/hostility that he sees a13-year-old kid as competition to be crushed?
Haha, truth, pretty cringeworthy to say the least

Kenyans: We're runners, not fighters.

And how does it make me feel? Nothing. Kenya going to war with Ethiopia is about as likely as the US invading Canada. Though I wouldn't put it past the head case currently ruling you.
Back to running, must be embarrassing for a country with so much money, resources and ten times the population getting constantly thrashed by Kenya that they've taken to importing Kenyans to stand a chance.

You sound like Zane Robertson now.
I try to be fairly objective on these boards, and sometimes I succeed. I honestly think you're overreacting here. The kid's pride was hurt by a comment he read and he reacted, but he wasn't rude or insulting; just not gracious.
As to your insults regarding the athletic ability of my home country, I'd suggest that our national athletic pride isn't tied into dostance running, a sport in which your home country is clearly superior. Of course, your position on that goes beyond not gracious - obviously you were reacting to a sllight. The irony is rich.

I actually think I do, so I'm taking back this post. Just that sometimes I let these trolls get to me.
