He'll win the steeple and 5k, I'm sure.
That sucks! Hope he still is gonna start the 5000m in a few hours
That's what he gets for the way he acted in the 2nd heat.
Nike wardrobe malfunction?

Correct!
He only fell because he thought it would get the crowd into the race.

My first thought. Nice dose of humility never hurts. This will be an insignificant blip on his overall career, but maybe he'll have learned something.
Not that I really have anything against excess celebrations in general, but when you are celebrating as you win a HEAT (not even a final) against competition that you should absolutely demolish, you kind of look like a tool.

FTFY
It looked like he fell, but he was actually taking a planned interval. The nerve of the guy to think he could take a rest during the final and still win. Arrogance personified.

Ok. That's great. But can someone tell me why he didn't go to the World U18 champs and face Kenay's stars. Manangoi's little bro?
Easy win on the 5,000m
54 last lap.
1.55 last 800m.

Most likely because the Norwegian federation decided not to send a team to those championships.

Becuase he doesn't want to race against 25-30 year olds!

He's been racing the mall year.
He actually showed a lot of character getting back up and giving it all to get back in that race, most people wouldn't even finish let alone go all out especially with two more races to go
