Im going to start run commuting. I need help with logistics

If you have nonperishable food you can save some of the carrying capacity by leaving that stuff in the car too, I guess.

- Deodorant for post-sponge bath application.

- Extra towels in car?

- Extra phone charger

- Do you use a GPS watch? Do you need to charge if between runs during the day?

If you need to commute less than the full week of doubles, you could also bike to work one day and take extra stuff in a larger bag that day.

Leave at least one extra pair of shoes and running clothes in the car. If it rains on your way there you'll have dry shoes for the run home. I usually re-wore some stuff when I had a locker, especially in winter when I didn't sweat much. Usually just replaced the inner layer of clothes with extras I carried.

Sunscreen that won't explode to leave in the car.

Nothing else occurs to me right now. Just threw out anything that jumped out at me.

Water, water and water

So when you get home every evening you will be without a car? Can you live with that? I assume you don't need to bring tools to the job site because running with that crap would suck. If so, I guess go for it.

They make "dude wipes" which are oversized wetnaps. Can probably find other similar things for a poor man's sponge bath.

I rarely drive my car when i get home anyway. We take my wifes car everywhere. Last time i workedbat thisbsite, i rode my bike. My car didnt move for months at a time. Tools are normally left at the job. I could probably leave about anything about the jobsite, there just isnt anywhere to change or anything like that. I also keep a phone charger with my tools. There will be plenty of bottles of water there. Riding my bike was much easier. I wore my work clothes, carried my lunch in a backpack, and i didnt get all sweaty.

This is the type of advice im looking for. Im thinking it may be easier to just keep dry towels in my car and pour water on them.

Im thinking i might be able to find a really big cooler and keep a couple milk jugs of frozen water and bring premade meals in there on monday morning

I ordered a coleman xtreme 6 120 qt cooler. Which is absolutely enormous and suposed to be very insulated. With some frozen milk jugs and maybe a bag of ice, it should last the week.

I have a small waistband that i can carry my phone and keys, but i may need a small backpack for some days. Any recommendations on something that wouldnt bother me too much?
