Been running almost a year and my PR is 2:30, but this is off 10-miles a week and unimpressive consistency. Currently I think I'm in shape to run closer to 2:20 off of some speed work (pretty minimal still) the past 2 months (but no easy running/tempos/intervals involved during those 2 months I gained fitness because I got lazy).
Do you guys think I have a chance to run a time like that or even faster in 12 weeks or so after a proper build up? My 1600m ability is around 5:35 and I was hoping to get nearer to
