When I graduated last year I never got a scholarship for track and I did track/xc all 4 years! My grades were very good! And my friends some how got the athletic scholarship even though my times were better then theirs? Why did I never get one!?

Your friends must have lied about their times or their grades were exceptional.
Or maybe Island is bullsh*tting and he wasn't very fast and/or his grades weren't good.
because you're asking this question.

They probably asked their guidance counselors for advice instead of sitting in the basement trolling on LRC.
What were your PRs before? Your teammates might have gone to small d2 or NAIA schools. Also you don't know how much money they got.
Your friends got wide rectums too.
My friends go to the same community college as me and I ran 4:45 in the 1600, 10:23 2 mile, 2:52 1k, 17:24 5k. They only ran 4:54-4:59 and was about 11:00 in the 2 mile. However My one friend did run 2:00 in the 800 so I can see why for him.

Yeah I don't know that's kinda weird 😕
Maybe talk to the coach
I'm just curious, before you were talking about running for a d3 school, are you still going to do that?
Are you a dude and your friends were chicks?
Yea idk why that happened and they are guys. I plan on joining a D3 school next Summer after I finish up my last year of community college. Hopefully with the training I could become a very good runner and hit low 15's and maybe get a good fast 8k/10k time. Hopefully J.S will still be coaching me. We will have to see!

Cool! Good luck!
Pretty sure community college doesn't have athletic scholarship... Maybe your friends got an academic scholarship but they call it athletic because they are dweebs.

I was thinking the same thing: if they're at the CC, they didn'y get scholarships. And they shouldn't. When I was in HS I ran 10km mostly and was around your 2 mile pace as an underclassman. This might seem both strange (that a teenager would run a 10km) and fast (faster than some of your friends can run a third of that distance) but neither was true at that time ('just finishing' didn't get on the 17-and-under podium as tons of my peers were out there).
And I didn't get any offers. This was partially because the US was a distance powerhouse at the time full of 2:45 16yo marathoners who became 2:20 runners a few years later - so the pool was big and deep and hard to stand out in. But this was mainly due to the fact that no recruiters knew I existed. There's no way they could have. They certainly couldn't have come up with a phone number or address for me even if they had (although again, they'd never heard of me.)
I think your problems are 2: you are slow and no one has ever heard of you.
Just being honest.
It was probably because I was out 1 season due to injury. However, a lot of teams in the area knew me and feared me in the 2 mile at meets. Even everyone in my town knows Im a fast runner. Probably they got an acedemic scholarship.
