I am wondering if the following is a good offseason 800m training routine for an 18 year old male who has a good foundation of fitness.
Monday- Core in the morning + (3x4x400m 1 min/8 min) at night
Tuesday- Plyometric workout in the morning + (4x1500m 5 min rest)
Wednesday- Upper body circuit workout + 12km progression run
Thursday- core workout in the morning + 8x600m with 2 min rest
Friday- Plyometrics
Saturday- Upper body circuit workout + 6x1000m with 3 min rest
