Kirani James to miss London WChamps with 'illness' - What illness keeps you out for a month?

He could have anything from a liver malfunction to pneumonia... Really, there are hundreds if not thousands of illnesses that keep people from training for two or three weeks.

remember, after long career at the top, kirani has "only" ever run 43.74pb which means after his long career that is his likely limit

i expect wade to run 43.60/43.70 in lausanne if conditions are good & he wants to stretch his legs

if wade can run faster than kirani ever has & he's just using this as a leg-stretcher, then what on earth chance in hell has kirani got to beat him in london ???
