I worked for a large firm and if some of my managers made public tweets like Trump, I would have fired them.
But my standards are high.

Seriously? The only people you know are people who also voted for Trump?
You apparently either run a Trump cult from some secluded compound or have multiple personality disorder. Neither bodes particularly well for your credibility.
I support the premise that sticks and stones break bones but names will never harm me. Tweet and don't retreat.
And of course, MAGA
It was always perfectly predictable that this is what a Trump presidency would be like - he was like this before the primaries, he was like this during the primaries, he was like this during the general election and he is like this now.
I have no idea how anyone in America can act surprised when trump pulls this garbage. Trump voters knew he would be exactly this.
So stop acting all surprised. This is what you wanted. You got it.
Wejo,
Glad to see that (regardless of whether you will vote for him again) you acknowledge Trump's severe and serious failings as an adult. He really is a very very bad person. Comical to the nth degree that Milania was supposed to champion anti-cyber bullying. Of course we've heard nothing from her on that, and then she just explained away Trump's behavior.
It is NOT an excuse for her to say that he just punches back 10 times harder. That just explains who he is...it doesn't show that that's appropriate.

I held my nose and voted for Trump because I think the leftists are destroying America.
I can simply not understand his lack of restraint. He ends up looking small and like an idiot.
Unfortunately it is people like you who put this man in power. He did more than enough during the campaign to prove that he was not fit for the office. Not only does HE look small and like an idiot, but all of you Republicans who voted for him look like that also by association. I am not saying you are an idiot...just saying that is the world's opinion of anyone who would vote for him. I think you were misguided. Trump used to be a Democrat (for most of his adult life). I NEVER would have voted for that man even if he ran as a Democrat.

You remain a silly, silly man.

Actually Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are. They've been ridiculing Trump non-stop...calling him Hitler, a facist, racist, sexist, a homophobe ... every name on the playground ... without doing any journalism at all.
It's nice to see Trump shove back. There's nothing wrong with plastic surgery. Insecure people never go to plastic surgeons do they?
1) Trump has deserved the ridicule. He's a fool. Fools are usually ignored, but this fool is the President. Totally deserving of all he has gotten from the press (INCLUDING from FOX News; though Fox & Friends still kisses his butt).
2) A President should not need to "shove back". Shows unbelievably thin skin to do so. Respect is given to a leader who lets it roll off his back. Stay on task and get your agenda worked on. He can not do that. He is not a leader.
3) Mika has never had a face lift as Trump mentioned. She had a minor procedure on her chin apparently, but photos show she had no "blood", and their account is that Trump wanted them to join him, not the other way around. Besides, a little plastic surgery for a person who is on television like Mika is wouldn't be indicative of insecurity...Trump's behavior DOES show that HE is incredibly insecure though.
Donald Trump may not be the most insecure man in America but he shows a lot of signs of being the most immature man in America. The President of the United States is engaging in a war of words, whether via Twitter or not, with TV personalities. The US should be embarrassed to have this baffoon supposedly running the country.

Yes, the economy is doing pretty well since Trump took over as President. He entered a period of growth that had been going on since 2009. If in the next 8 years things improve for me like they did under Obama, I will be wealthy beyond my wildest dreams. He's got some working to do.
All that said though, a decent economy (which a President can't really take credit for) doesn't excuse away all the crap that comes with Trump.

I most definitely did not vote for him, but you have to admit a semi reasonable person could have voted for him because they expected better than this. He's pretty much matching worse case expectations. He is even more outrageous than he was during the election.
I will NEVER understand this thinking. All the warning signs were there during the campaign that he was emotionally unstable. He's 70 years old. Did people think he was going to mature at that age by claiming what was for him the ultimate prize? He is not a Republican or a conservative. What we are seeing now will become progressively worse when the pressure of the job builds and having to live in DC wears thin. That 60 million people looked pass all this and still voted for him boggles the mind.

Here I go.
You've said that 'if only Trump were to stop tweeting, things would be okay'.
I altered your wording but that is basically what you said.
Here is my take, again, at the risk of being attacked.
Trump's problem is not that he tweets ( and he's tweeted some crazy/nasty/detestable things).
Trump's problem is NOT that he likes tweeting.
Trump's problem is that in MY OPINION (and this is just my personal opinion), he is MENTALLY UNSTABLE.
He is MENTALLY UNHEALTHY and I am no Doctor.
My take.
I know I'll be attacked for this but that is my take.
This is correct. Asking Trump to stop tweeting is really just asking him to stop showing people who he is.

remember that millions of people voted for him specifically to shake things up in DC. To drain the swamp, etc. This is what they wanted. This is on them. They didn't want a smooth talking career politician - they wanted a guy who talked like the corner repair shop BSer.

I hear this a lot, but could some verifiable evidence and statistics be provided, please? Thank you.
The Flag is flying high again!

And as others have mentioned, it's unfortunate that you're all up in arms about a frigging tweet whilst ignoring all the other crap he's pushing through. Very sad!

No he is mentally unstable. And that is why they passed the act removing power of the president to start wars.
