Anyone think Murphy is in danger?

I do. After watching Rowbury struggle, I'm saying right now Murphy won't make both teams. Might not make either.

I predict he'll make the 800m team. He sandbagged it the last 150m and is conserving energy.

Too bad he isn't with Saucony, he could ask Ray Treacy for advice on doubling.

Murphy looked amazing in the first round of the 800m. He has looked terrible since. I don't know who advised him on this double in such a short meet but that person obviously doesn't get it. Poor management for sure! If he decided on his own then hopefully this wakes him out of lala land to respect his opponents. I cannot say definitively that such a great athlete will fail to make the team but from what I have seen so far it is not likely. The 800m field is weak so that at least gives him a shot. Worst USA final in years.
