Anyone remember the model name of an adidas flat that was out in 2005/2006? It was ridiculously light, like 3 ounces or so. The name is escaping me.

Adidas Rep I know says it was called the Adizero PR. Kinda like the Mayfly in concept.

I was thinking that too but didn't think the Adizero PR was out that long ago. Great shoe and a good proce. I've never quite forgiven adidas for discontinuing it.

Best flat ever.

That would be the puma h street, sir.
Around that time the adizero rocket came out too. That was the best flat ever for anything over 10k. I hate boost and I hate clunky high heel to toe drops. Thus while everyone sings the adizero adios boost's praises, it feels like one of the worst shoes to me, like a regression in technology by 50 years.

Did they put midsole shanks or plastic forks on the flats during the early part of the millennium? I wasn't into racing then.

On many, yes. I cut myself a few times trying to slice them out.
