Berian doesn't show up on the accepted entry list for USA's. Looks like the 3rd spot in the 800 is up for grabs (this is me assuming the first two will be Murphy and Brazier). Anyone know where he's been/why he hasn't raced at all this year?

That's a shame. I'm going to bump this thread. Anyone know what's up?

#1 guess is some kind of injury. #2 guess is bad year from mental/emotional burnout.
The real reason is his rise came from EPO. He stopped using when the drug testers were closing in. Now he's back to his normal 1:50 self at all comers meets somewhere.
That leaves a spot for Nick Symmonds!

For all those critics of Nike this is why you have reduction clauses. It helps motivate people. Now Boris can collect $125k for doing nothing. Goodfor him bad for the sport.
He never seemed that bright

New Balance has him going around doing promotional appearances at various running events. Please, stick to your day job.
Looks fit on his instagram. my bet is he'll show up and take some scalps
When is the last day to declare????
Maybe it's a ploy???
Looks like he isn't going to compete this year.
Late petition by email ONLY: Tuesday, 6/20/17 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PT
He ate tainted beef.
unclear what's going on. instagram would lead one to believe that he's been training and is healthy, but he hasn't raced all year.

Adams State isn't much of an academic powerhouse. If you find yourself working at McDonalds after graduating from a 4 year college, you should have gone to a different college. FWIW I worked at Burger King when I was 15 and 16, so I know it is nothing to aspire to.
Berian only went to college for a year and then flunked out. Never close to graduating.
According to this flotrack article, Berian has been injured all year and will not compete. No real specifics and Flotrack is full of idiots but this seems legit http://www.flotrack.org/article/57816-usa-men-s-800m-preview-the-ncaa-final-we-never-got-to-see#.WUqrd8aZOgQ
