I have been running/training for 5K's over the past 5 months, trying to break 18 mins. Closest I got was a few weeks ago, 18:01. I have been wanting to switch over to 10K's, but don't want to give up on my sub 18 5K.
If I start training for 10K's, can I expect to be able to have a better 5K time by the end also? Or is it best to just stick with 5K's until I get my satisfied time(s)?
