There's many Canadian female mid-distance/distance talent committing to D1 programs next year. Considering Canada has never had a stronger group of women distance athletes than the class of 2017, there will be more Canadians making waves in the ncaa in the near future.
She ran great, but that girl out in lane 4, Nikki Hiltz, probably ran the fastest last 200 meters. If (I know "IF") the race was 2 meters longer Hiltz would have had her.

Well, that's racing. Hiltz ran a poor race, Phelan was smarter. Simple as that.
