Very well spoken too, judging by that interview. Once he goes pro, any company would be lucky to have him. And if track had any popularity outside of its niche, he'd be a household name for his talent and charisma.

He's 19.
Distances/ times?
Pointless without
UKAC: I like you my man, I really do, but......"pointless" ?? As a frosh, he just won the 110H, got 2nd in the LJ, and split 43.88 to anchor a 4x400 win. This is NCAA D1 finals. some years are better than others, but, it's NEVER easy to win or get top 2, and it's ALWAYS impressive to win/get top 2 as a frosh. But do it all 3? That's a big freaking deal no matter what the details of his 110H and LJ results are. And you got the 43.88 #/stat to go with the other top 2 finishes. That should suffice for now.
He's a super stud. I don't need to know no stinkin' time/distance in the LJ/110 H to know that.
(but sure, knowing times/distance would let you know if an OG gold medal is around the corner or in what event is his best, sure. Not saying the #'s ain't useful, but not having them in no way detracts from how remarkable his performance was. It was remarkable, regardless of other details)
Wow! This is insane. How does this guy train? What can he do for 100m and 200m? He is a huge talent.
They need to try him out in a decathlon. If he has any ability in pole vault, could challenge some Eaton records down the road

I've known Grant since he was 11. What you see in the interviews is real. I don't think I've ever met a person who is more interested in other people. You could honestly walk into a room with hundreds of people who know Grant in it and every single one of them would tell you how he has taken time to get to know them and be a part of their lives.
Look at pictures of him from Friday. He's wearing a pink wristband that was made to honor a girl from a neighboring school district back home who was tragically killed by a drunk driver just weeks before graduation. He wanted to wear it to support the family and the community who are really struggling with this loss.
There is no doubt in my mind that he is going to be the face of a shoe company after his time at Florida. (By the way, he has told me on multiple occasions that he's committed to 4 years at FL.)
We had Grant on our CSI /NSAF team that competed in Havana three years ago....
everything said about him is true and then some...A wondeful kid...he ran the 3rd leg on our 4x100m relay with Ryan Clark and the two Lyle brothers....some team! I believe they ran 40 flat with but 20 min of baton practice....no more needed...
You guys did forget to mention that his high jump PB is 2.16 m and his 55 m dash PB is 6.22 (a time that would fit very well to a 10.20 sprinter)
To my knowledge he is 6'2 to 6'3 and 185 to 190.
Yes with a lttle luck he could challange the 400 hurdles world record - but it would be the waste of the century! This guy has written 9100 points all over him. Someone has to tell him though;)
