Tell me what I'm doing right and wrong. I got 3 different shots so you can see starts and turns.

Your arms flail from side to side.

I don't know if you are doing anything right, but what you're doing wrong is spending too much time running and posting, and not enough time dating.
Agree on the arms thing. Keep the arms moving forward and back along your side to drive power. Yours go across your body. And it looks like you aren't landing on the balls of your feet... But it's hard to tell.
You are a slow white boy who doesn't fill his jock like a true sprinter.

You **cross your torso** with your arms. Watch Powell or Van and watch how their arms reach way higher and much more front to back, rather than across the body.
Why does Jamin's YouTube has only 10 subscribers? ðŸ˜
Don't think too much about the arms, that is an easy distraction.
The biggest issue is that you are sitting a bit, leaving your hips behind. This is why you have too much backside mechanics and not enough frontside mechanics. This is limiting power in your stride. Get the hips into it and your stride will open up. This is why right now it looks a bit choppy.

Hmmm interesting

You swing your arms like an ape.
Drive them forward. I drive them upward a little too for the first couple strides. Sort of exaggerating the forward portion of the arm swing. (Maybe not the best description.) No idea if this is ideal, but I have decent speed, get off the line very well and am at my top speed very suddenly.

if you spent more time "dating" and less time posting, your hips would thrust more forward and open up while sprinting.

This is it. Also you look like you're landing flat and heavy - can a sprinter heelstrike? Was this at the end of a workout? I'd want to see you run taller, lighter, generally snappier. Is your core as strong as it could be? I would look at that.

Do some wicket drills.
Hit the gym and gain some muscle if you want to sprint. Otherwise remain a scrawny 5K runner. Your form, no matter how good cannot overcome the lack of muscle.
God, you are the most self-obsessed moron I've ever seen. Get a life.

For one thing, you should film cell phone video in horizontal, not that weak vertical business.
lot of good advice even if they don't know why.
You are too arm dominant. Too much weight room so that you can look good instead of run fast.
Learn what the arms are supposed to do. They are supposed to mirror / follow your legs without over powering them.
You use more arms than needed and they impact you gait, your knee lift, and your leg speed.
Arms are about keeping your hips at the right angles, maintaining balance and rhythm, and helping your stride recovery. ETC You've turned it into an arm wrestling contest.
Its easier to explain in person, but I say lighten up. No problem with having arm strength, but don't use it until you absolutely have to.
You have to educate yourself. Dropping your hands, drops your knee lift. for example. Too much overuse of strength, you drop your hands, then you drop your knees, then your hips lower, and then your stride is shortened. Its all related. Stop the bench press and arm curls.
Was any of this filmed at that quirky Seattle Pacific U. track?
