Sick of anti Nike, NOP, Salazar, Rupp bias on LR

I'm sick of those sleazy cheaters trying to game the system. Get the F out of my sport!

Rupp remains my favorite runner for his events. I have always admired Coach Salazar, as well, and purchase several thousand dollars of Nike gear per year given my involvement in running, track, soccer, and basketball.

However, as a coach, I demand clean sport from my own athletes. And as long as compelling claims arise that NOP is doing something shady, I will listen to those claims seriously and only believe them to be refuted when I see equally compelling evidence thereof. My feelings towards the athletes, coaches, or program or brand involved cannot get in the way of that or I'm then myself being unethical.

I guess you want 90-95% of the athletes out then? Because that's how many are cheating. Remember, there are countries that don't even have drug testing in place.

I do not buy into the notion that 90-95% of the athletes are cheating. That's ludicrous. But YES I do want all of the cheaters out.

Sort of agree with OP. Rojo got caught red handed, on another recent thread, completely fabricating a story on why Magness was fired. The dude seems to have zero regard for journalistic credibility. Can't believe other journalists didn't call him out for his unsubstantiated claims. But this is just one big shoulder massage circle between the Brojos, Barker, Tucker, Epstein, Chavez and Germano. It just goes around and around, retweeting and praising each other's work, nobody bothering to so much as try to get a balanced story. I would love to see Gladwell "revisionist history" this whole affair.

What seems to be equally as odd to me is the fact that most of the other top training groups (or at least BTC and Wetmore group) are potentially doing the same thing as the NOP, yet nobody cares. Not one single story about it. It just comes off as a complete witch hunt on Salazar.
