I think Curry has the build for it, but with Lebron playing practically the whole game every game, he might have better endurance.

Isiah Thomas.
He isn't in the finals
Kyrie Irving is fast end to end but Russell Westbrook would win any race as that guy always plays on pure hate. He plays basketball like everyone is his personal enemy. He has admitted to this. He's not in the finals but would win anyway.
Curry would start out fast and then break his ankles. He is Mr. Glass.
Certainly not LeBron. Probably Curry, Ian Clark, McCaw, or Kyrie.
Kyle Korver, because he's secretly Ben True's identical twin.
But that's not true...
Durant?
Nah. durant would take the easy way out and win the mile fun run.

savage
Schumpert and JR Smith are physical freaks and could probably be pretty fast.
Klay Thompson is slow as shizz. Must be the white part of him.

Bravo, bravo. Tipping my cap to you.
Consider that the smallest guys on the field in the finals are Curry, who's listed at 6'3 / 190, and Kyrie at 6'3 / 193. For comparison, that's 2 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier than Solinsky.
Shumpert's listed at 6'5 / 220. JR Smith 6'6 / 225. These guys have nearly 20 pounds on Bolt--I'd be hesitant to predict a super fast 5k from those two.

Ian Clark 6'3 175. He's probably faster than Curry - just not as skilled with a ball.
It's either Curry, Kyrie, or Korver.
I bet each of them could break 16.
Nope not even close. Probably can't even break 18:30
you are all incorrect. allen iverson ran a mile in 4:48 or so in his peak and spoke about it in an interview and his teammates say he ran almost every day
This. There is a HUGE difference to distance running and playing basketball. I'm not saying distance running is more difficult or takes more talent but it just isn't the same. NBA players that play huge minutes spend a lot of time strolling around, with a few short sprints mixed in. Very exhausting to do that for big minutes and you'd need good cardio, but it doesn't make you a distance runner. Sprinters training is more similar to distance training and even they suck at distance. I bet without specific training, if you held a race tomorrow, not 1 player could run under 18:30 and very few could break 20

Like I said in the previous post with 4:48 speed Allen Iverson could have managed 5:40 pace if he never ran more than 1 mile at a time.
It would be very difficult for NBA players to run distance or sprints. NBA court is only 94 feet long -- about 28 meters. Sprinters can't even get up to top speed at that short distance. NBA players run a lot during the course of a game but with a lot of stoppages. They never run at top speed and they never run continuously for very long, so any kind of running event would be very difficult for them. The high jump would probably be the easiest even for a basketball player.
