Engels will win 1500. No doubt.
-
I hope an American wins. All the foreign athletes are great, but hopefully America can get a win (Fisher?).

Fisher is Canadian-born, but represents USA now. Where are the American-born male distance runners at? -
Sleeper school: GTown
Joe White in the 800 is coming off a great indoor season
Scott Carpenter was top 10 in XC in the fall and ran a monster anchor leg on their indoor DMR team to get 2nd
Jon Green in the 10k might finally be healthy. Fitness is coming back, he's been to Eugene before, and was 5th at NCAA XC in 2015 -
Good call on Joe White. What about Saruni from UTEP for 800?
-
White came in 3rd in indoors, not really a sleeper

Fisher's nationality is well known it's on his Wikipedia page - he is a US citizen. Mother is American, Dad is Canadian, he was born in Calgary Canada and moved to the US when he was three. He has competed internationally for the US Team as a Youth and Junior and at the US Olympic Trials. So support the kid. With so many Kenyans signing up for US citizenship after college by enlisting/running for the US Army team it is getting harder and harder for US kids that go through the system to compete for a spot on a US team in a distance event. -
Only changes to your list would be Engels for the win in the 1500 and Fisher for the win in the 5000
Nice to see so many competitive races with no clear favorite except maybe in the 800 -
is cheserek injured?

Don't sleep on Furman's Troy Reeder in the steeple, All-American last year and won his heat at East regional.
-
At the Martinez Classic, Ole Miss' Robert Domanic had a massive PR in the Mile - he'd never broken 4, and he ran 3:54. Even converting to 1500 times: his PR was 3:40.9, his mile at the Martinez Classic converts to about 3:36-high.
If Van Hoy has Engels ready to go like he had Domanic ready to go, Engels is gonna win big. -
yeah joe white might get top 3 i'm not sure about jon green though.
