In XC 11 World titles, plus a world championships debut (silver in 2001). He displayed total dominance in those races, and most of the time did not leave it to a final sprint (which he obviously had) yet decided the race often with a ways to go.
I guess the big blemish on his XC is Mombasa.
His track races are obviously where the world records are, and he went undefeated in the 10000m for an insane amount of time. Incredible 1500 to 10000m range. he also not only had a devastating kick in his Olympic golds, but his wins were decisive (he opened huge gap on his opponents the last lap unlike Mo Farah who always wins but barely)
As much as I like to watch XC more, I think his track career was more impressive.
