New to the forum! I'm in the market for a new pair of running shoes and I've been debating which of these two I should buy. I've narrowed down my choices to the Asics DynaFlyte and the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33. Both shoes received great reviews and I would like to know what runners on this forum think. I'm a daily runner and jog about 3-5 miles a day.
I've been running in the Pegasus for awhile now and get about 2-3 pairs of them a season and never once had a problem with any of them. If I were you though I would try going into a running store and trying both of them on and see which one seems to be the better fit.

I had a Nike pegusis 32 and found it wasn't enough cushioning for me, effected my shins and I have back issues. The Asics Dynaflyte I found has better cushioning and damping on the hard surfaces. I also found the Dynaflytes is a little more roomy, the Nikes can be quite tight in the mid foot. The Dynaflytes are reasonably soft ( not mushy) but some of that is the insole - its soft, replace the insole the shoe firms up a bit more. It quite light too. The Dynaflytes is a very comfortable fast running shoe and quite versatile for both short and longer distances. Both the Nike Peg and Asics Dynaflytes are quite responsive running shoe. I prefer the Asics Dynaflytes overall.
