You missed Josh Kerr. Cruises a 3:46(3:41 altitude converted) 1500 with 54.5 last lap. 90 minutes later runs 1:48.05 800 with splits of 55.34/52.71
Not as shocking as his breakthrough at Cal, but Korir's 44.53 deserves mention. He was wayy back the first 200 .The race is at 5:06:00 in the feed

Um. We did mention him.

The NCAA 800 final likely will be must-see TV as the NCAA indoor champ Korir continued to impress last weekend. He lowered his 400 pb from 44.67 to 44.53 at the Conference USA Champs (which were run at altitude which helps a 400 – the NCAA converts that 44.53 down to 44.64 at sea level).

Did he win the 800? Any videos? I'm guessing he could probably go 1:46-ish fresh at sea level.
Great post info, thanks so much.
You mentioned Hannah Green from Va Tech. They had two women at 2:01, 2:02, and two men at 1:46. Pretty impressive.
Brandon Carnes, University of Northern Iowa
9.97 with a 2.2 wind.
Carnes also won the 200 (20.42 slightly gimpy) to give him 16 MVC individual championships in the sprints indoors and out. He won every championship 60, 100 and 200 for four years.
Gina Sereno's 5000/10000 double victory for Michigan at the Big Ten champs deserves some love. First gal to do it in back-to-back seasons in 18 years. And it was a carbon-copy finish of the indoor 5000!
