Watch out for Devin Dixon, 1:45 at SEC's, he will pull a Donny Brazzers at NCAA's and win!!
Dixon with the 1.3 s pr in that race.

What a nickname.
true.
but Harris is a 19 year old who has run 4:05 in his only indoor mile.
This kid is the real deal!!! El Cabello v. 2
Bet he will go a bit quicker than Juantorena's PR of 44.26 when all is said and done. Certainly can use that to break 1:40, just barely.
How tall is he and how much does he weigh?
Anyone know?
Great kick by Saruni after 15:00! (guys talking after thought he was Korir)

barely qualifies as an altitude run as el paso at 1140m when 1000+ is altitude
someone posted that this meet had winds as strong as 2.5 !!
what woud this run been at sea-level in 0 wind stadium ???

44.7-44.8
you really haven't thought this thru
he ran a prelim of 46.6 the day before, so not rested for final
as the great Kerley has shown, it is not possible to run your fastest 400 after prelim day before
it requires at least a day off to get close to your best 400
that cost Korir probably ~ 0.33s
the wind-altitude calculator gives it as 44.83 but no account of that is taken of hypoxia slowing clockings, or do you believe it is possible to run a 400 on 1 breathe ???
that tightens it up to ~ 44.6-high at worst
knock off 0.33 for prelim -> 44.3-mid
then taking into account of wind & slow start from Korir, just basically blasting the last 200, showing he still won't run a hard 400 from the gun, but doesn't need to as class above guys he's faced, his fully rested, flat-out, sea-level run with 0 wind wouda been in a diamond league setting
~ 44-flat
44.53 overtakes everett as 2nd fastest 400 ever run by a 1'43-guy
i read somewhere that is Korir's last 400 of the year !?
from now on it's rumoured he will only run 800s, which is great for him but a slight let down for the fans as i'm sure most woud luv to see him run a diamond league 400 to see how fast he really can go for 400

You haven't thought it through at all. A 46.6 doesn't tire a 45 flat guy enough to make him 0.33 seconds slower. Rubbish.

2018 will be a good year to get back and mix both events, maybe run 400m indoors!

He decided not to go to WC unless he makes the 800m team?
Or has he decided against world champs altogether since he's been in top form since mid April (too much of a risk to stretch the season so much)
Does Kenya have a 4 X 400 team qualified for WC?
oh nice vent....i remember you and others were talking shit that i was a moron saying he would run 43.8 by seasons end....and now here you are saying the same thing.
remember when you talked shit that i was a moron that merrit would win the olympics and run a WR and i said no way it would be van....
again i know track and field pretty f*cking good and i still have to hear it from you trolls and mr know it all yourself ventolin.
for all those idiots who called me a moron and said no way he would break 45 haha, im telling you if he stays with doing the 400 by worlds he will INDEED run 43.8. i told you but you still doubt
