I agree. Look at where their hips are, well above. When women clear the barrier their lead leg is angled down. Look where the men's hips are and the angle of their lead leg.

Dumbest post of the day, by far. Look at the ratio of the womens steeple world record to the flat 3000 meter record (1.096) and do the same for men (1.075). Using that logic, the men's barrier is too low. Also your picture comparison is way off base. Emma Coburn is 5' 8" tall which puts her in the 90th percentile among women. The man you picked is about 5' 7" tall which puts him in the 25th percentile among men. It would be like if you showed a basketball player going over the men's barrier and a gymnast going over the women's barrier.
