Boston Marathon runner takes a second medal for his wife and posts it on social media

With all the marathon scammers we have to deal with, an extra medal taken is not even worth mentioning. This is way over blown.

Can we figure out who this guys is and then confirm that he actually qualified without cheating?

This is why I sell mine on eBay every year I also sell the shir and anything else that comes in the reg bag. People pay good money got that stuff. It typically st least covers my flight costs.

Pretty easy to steal a finisher's medal like another banana. He's a selfish dick. If he really wanted to honor her sacrifices, he would've given her his medal.

You can sell finisher medals on eBay for $200. Lowest price I've seen is $50. So, taking a medal that you aren't allowed to take is theft. Nothing to do with marathon cheating, it's just straight stealing. I wouldn't say I'm offended, but I do think the guy is a thief and a scum bag and his wife is a special kind of stupid.
