Hiii, I recently got a 6-9 month summer/fall job at 7,000ft in the sierras as a Forester. I work 8am-430pm 5 days a week, and am looking to take full advantage of this place :D
I have a few concerns, I will be waking up around 5-530AM for morning runs before work. And normally my only complaint would be having to wake up, but I have this small fear that it is the best time for mountain lions to be out and about :P Should I carry I knife or pepper spray? I am usually pretty bare when running. Multiple headlamps? A whistle? I heard cats don't like loud noise?
Also, should I be weary of crouching or squatting to poop? A valid concern as they say don't look crouch and I often have to poop on runs :p
