Saw this one on Twitter or FB yesterday.
Can you hire these people to run with your bib or is this just referring to having a friend carry it for you?
Kudos to her for putting in all the hard work to cover up her cheating before the marathon even started. She posted pics of her bib, gels, and gear to make it look like she was going to actually run.
She's hot. Hotter than Jane Seo.
She needs to break at least 3:35 (I'm guessing because she looks young) and hasn't even run a sub-2 half marathon? No wonder she got someone else to do the work for her.
I just don't get how someone could enjoy Boston (or with Jane Seo, running with that faster club) when you didn't ACTUALLY qualify? WTF is wrong with people!!!!!??????
The running doesn't matter. Usually it's social media whores trying to grab attention so they can get "charity" donations to themselves.

You must be ignorant or senile. Or ignorant and senile. Running has always had a major cheating component to it. It is a heritage of the sport.

The marathon investigation site was started by one our very own LR posters. He does a good job of outing people like this and it is funny.
I could not sit and do that research for very long but I can definitely see how someone with a very analytical and statistical mind would find the work interesting.
Why does the article only mention "Cindy's" first name? And no facebook link?
Why not name the "bib mule" as well?
I think these cheaters are getting off too easy here.

Yeah, I saw that too and it was all I needed to know that she couldn't run a 3:17 marathon. She obviously had no idea what she was doing and if she'd done her training runs she'd know you wouldn't/couldn't possibly eat all that on the way to a 3:17 marathon. I don't even think a little person like her could eat that much in a day.
Gotta say, as I look at it more closely, this Marathoninvestigation.com website seems pretty lame. It has another story about some cheater named only "Susan" and very few details. Is this website legit?
The LetsRun sleuths want full names, otherwise the thread will die and the cheaters will get away with it.

It took me 2 minutes to find her real name, try harder.
I'm not sure if it's ironic, but in 2015 she was on the deans list for the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a community of motivated and intellectually committed individuals who explore justice in its many dimensions.
I like to think these threads explore many dimensions of justice.

Why should I have to try harder to find the names? I READ THE ARTICLES...why doesn't THEY give the names? The "Susan" piece lists "a news article" as the source. Really?

It's a guy, on his own time, not a journalist, who finds marathon cheats. What exactly does he owe you? What is the scam exactly?
