Should the TV show the Big Bang Theory be cancelled?
It no longer makes any sense and all the characters only really intermingle with each other. There is no slapstick science jokes or anything relevant to the actual 'Big Bang Theory' anymore. The guy from the comic bookstore doesn't even have a comic bookstore anymore.
It should have be canned after the first season. What a load of crap and a waste of a thread.
Nope. It is still the best theory we have for the origin of our universe, given the available evidence.
I hope it doesn't renew, as it stopped being funny or consistent with the characters about 2-3 years ago. Kind of like Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother.
It's been over for a long time. Just cashing in on commercial time now.

Shows aren't cancelled because they are not good, or renewed because they are. The decisions are based on whether they make money or not. There are rare exceptions when the show creators will make the choice. . MASH probably because they were tired of doing it. Seinfeld because they apparently had some artistic integrity. But no network will ever cancel or renew based on anythong other than ratings (money).
So I am honestly a little surprised this show is still on TV. What season is it on now? Seems like it's been on forever. I watched a few episodes on deployment a few years ago. It was okay.
It isn't over until I see Kaley Cuoco topless, god damn it!

No, it isn't a show for smart people. It's a show about smart people, but there is nothing smart about the humor itself.

I gave up on the shoe a long time ago. I think once blossom became a regular I started to lose interest. Agree that HIMYM was a good show that ceased being very funny after a few seasons.

This show is less embarrassing than Two and a Half Men. I don't love it, but I won't change the channel whenever it comes on either. The actors make bank, and at $1,000,000 an episode, you would be crazy to not keep it up.
Should have ended a while ago imo. Like you said, its lost touch with what originally made ot good.
On another note, i happened to watch an ep last night and i only just noticed in the credits that the theme song is sung by the barenaked ladies, which made me wonder if that was the most succsessful (made them the most money) song of their career.

To each his own, but after Wolowitz, I think Amy F is the funniest on the show.
