I run about 30mpw and a 5:30 mile. How long does it take to get back into top shape after doing no physical activity for 6 weeks?

I was injured for about 9 months, only like 10 mpw or less, 3-4 months no mileage at all. Anyhow I started running again I was really slow for a few weeks, after 3 months I felt pretty good after 5 months I was back where I wanted to be, after 8 months i'm way faster from what I learned in the time I was injured.
I felt AWFUL and I was really slow for the first few weeks, I thought i would never regain fitness but it all paid off.
you should already be recovered after 6 weeks off!

Top shape? Don't sideline yourself already before you even lace up. Just ease back into it. And get back to being consistent. You try running PRs in 4 weeks and you're asking for a hurt ego and worse another injury. I learned that lesson the hard way too. Hopefully you don't have to.
I take 2 or 3 weeks off every year around Christmas and New Years. It always seems to take the same amount of time to "feel right again." So, it takes me about 2 weeks to recover from 2 weeks off, and 3 weeks to recover from 3 weeks off. Not sure if this ratio continues to 6-weeks, but it can't be too far removed.
