Found this website, what do you think of their training plan? Pros and cons? Anything really wrong with it?
Also, I had the chance to watch the track team practice today at the D1 University I attend. The women's 5K/10K group did 12x400 at 80 secs in lane 8, only rest was a 15 second jog back to the lane 8 400m start line. I was told that this pace is slower than their normal 5K pace, but they seemed to be really struggling by the end. Why is that? I would think that rest, though minimal, would help them out a lot more. They finished the workout with 2x800 at 2:30 each.
