Hi my name is Johnny, currently a high school senior and i'm looking for help on improving my 2:11 800m time. Right now i'm in mid season and I got like 1 month and 2 weeks before my season ends. My goal for my last year is to hit a 2:00 flat. Right now I think that my " coach " is not coaching me right because all the season were doing some what 5k or 1600m workouts. For example, Monday we are going to do 6 miles. Tuesday 2 mile warm up 4 sets of 1,000m with 400m jog then sprint 200m and then jog 200m and I think 1 or 2 mile cool down. Wendesday 6 miles. Thursday 3 miles. Friday meet. Saturday i'm going to do 16x200m repeats with 1 minute recovery, 1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down. Sunday rest. In my opinion I think I should do like 500m repeats or 600m. Please contact me as soon as possible for more information, I really need help. Thanks.
