Freshman high school, run 800/1600/3200.
Last year as 8th grader I ran 2:17/5:07/11:08 in flats and am a lot bigger/stronger/better shape this year.
My dad ok'd $125 to buy new spikes. So do I get the Zoom Victory 3 or the Matumbo? And, where does the Mamba3 fit it?

Go with the Victories my man. I have both the new matumbo and victory. I only use the matumbo for 10K and long track intervals because it has a lot of cushion for the long events. The victories are amazing for 800-5K.

Just curious, what is purpose of the Mamba since description seems to be the same for it as for Vic3?
I've never worn the Matumbos, but I recently wore the victory 3s for a 3k and they were great. They'll also serve you well for shorter distances which the Matumbos might not. As for mambas, they're mainly a steeplchase spike and I've heard mixed reviews, so I'd go with vics
The spikes don't come out of the Matumbo's so if you need 1/8th spikes indoors your screwed. Whatever shoe fits best wear it...
