Gambetta is awesome! I saw him speak & he tore into Nike something fierce! He said that Salazar was mad & fired him because Gambetta was "breaking" Salazar's athletes. Gambetta said the Nike athletes were muscularly weak & he was giving them an overall strength needed to be successful. Whew! Love his courage to stand-up & speak-out.

Sounds like his ideas about training are a lot better than Salazar's. His current athletes must have done a lot better than Alberto's at Rio. Which of the two guys who beat Rupp in the marathon were coached by Gambetta?

Hmmm so a guy who has worked in MLB, NFL, NBA(sports where drug use is beyond obvious) he decides to bring the hammer down on the big bad olympic medalists who make a fraction of the money of the drugs cheats in the major sports. Maybe he doesn't care about cheating, but cares about being fired?

I got two questions.
Seems like Coach Brown was involved in something questionable? The former distance runner Olympian who has been coaching those Army guys, including Chelimo?
But my main question is, the Sam Cassell reference. I got hot seats when the Bucks were deep in the finals against the 76ers. Disappointing to see them lose. Did I miss something years later about Sam Cassell?
