I'm not willing to do it again because it hurt too much. I did this about a year ago after a night of drinking and challenges. 44yo former mediocre at best runner. Have taken up other sports and have gained about 30 lbs of muscle and fat since the running days. 6', 200. Ran 67. Felt like I was absolutely flying, thought it would be 60 or better. Crushing when I looked at watch.

67 is very not bad for a 44 year-old non-runner.

Non-runner that's 2.5 years on a couch to tri program. It always been a slow runner. Peak mile right now is 6:06 and best 5k was 20:50

I run about 20 mpw usually but was closer to 5 the last 6 months with a hip injury

If my there is no snow on my local track I will check back tomorrow.

INB4 tons of ppl flood the thread with times that are way faster than they can actually run and then saying something like "I'm 4X years old and am a casual runner" or "I'm overweight and run like 15 miles a week" to discourage everyone

I ran 400m unprepared with some non-running friends last summer after having not run at all for over two years. Pulled out a 68. The non-running friends thought it was fast, haha.

I run hard around the adjacent liquor store parking lot and back to the gym a couple of times a week.

Went to the track today and ran 59. It's a college track with a football field in the middle and the places where people throw stuff , which is near a hole with some water and a barrier so people don't fall in the deep part , so maybe that's a 400?

Oh dear, I like a good challenge. I will have to get back with you over the weekend...hope I don't pull a hammy...🏃🏽‍♀️😬
